Bouncy Zone Inflatable Hire
Delivery, collection and set up are all included in the hire cost. In order to
ensure that you gain maximum fun and safety when using our equipment please
follow the safety guidelines listed below. If you are unsure of anything at all
please ask, you can even contact us after we have left the equipment with you.
The area in which the equipment is to be used should be clean and clear of any
hazards or objects that may damage the equipment e.g. sharp objects, animal
waste. Our staff will be unable to leave equipment if they assess the area as
unsuitable for assembly and use of our equipment.
When the unit is being set up and packed away please ensure children remain at a
safe distance to avoid any accidents. Users should not be allowed onto the unit
during inflation/ deflation. We will need to see the unit inflated when we
arrive to collect it, if you have deflated it please inflate it again before we
arrive.
Once the equipment is set up make sure that children and young people are aware
of the tripping hazards associated with the anchor points around the inflatable
equipment.
The hirer should inspect the equipment and any accessories supplied and confirm
that they agree it is supplied in good condition.
Any faults should be brought to the attention of a member of our staff.
Please ensure that children and young people DO NOT play with or near the
blower/ generator or any other equipment e.g. extension cables associated with
these items.
Unless stated at the time of booking/ delivery adults are NOT permitted to use
the inflatable equipment.
(Some of our inflatables are designed for use by adults). It is important that age limits are adhered to.
The following items are NOT allowed onto or near the equipment as they can cause
injury to the users or damage to equipment:
Footwear • Badges • Jewellery (i.e. large earrings, necklaces etc.
Party Poppers • Silly String • Coloured Streamers • Face Paints
Food • Drink • Drinking Glasses • Smoking • Glasses
A responsible ADULT must supervise the inflatable AT ALL TIMES. Please be aware
that you, the hirer are responsible for the supervision of the equipment, its
care, safety from damage, however slight of any sort, the behaviour of all
users of the equipment regardless of their capacity.
Limit the number of people using the inflatable at one time to avoid
overcrowding and increased risk of accidents and injuries.
Avoid large and small children using the inflatable at the same time.
Anyone with a history of back or neck injuries should not be allowed to use the
inflatable.
DO NOT allow users to climb, hang or sit on the walls it is VERY DANGEROUS.
Anyone who is under the influence of alcohol and/or prescribed and/or
unprescribed drugs and/or any other intoxicating substance should not use the
equipment.
Whilst rain covers are provided with some of our inflatables they are not
designed to contend with heavy rain. If the castle does become wet it will
become very slippery and DANGEROUS. We strongly recommend that you switch the
inflatable off in cases of heavy rain.
If you experience any problems with the equipment and are concerned, the
inflatable should be evacuated.
If you are unable to identify the source of the problem, please ring us and we
will try to resolve the problem for you.
In cases where the inflatable begins to deflate, after you have carefully
evacuated it check:
· Is the blower still operating?
· Is anything obstructing or trapped in the air intake?
· Is there any damage to the equipment?
· Is the air pipe still attached to the blower?
· Has the RCD tripped?
· Have any of the electrical connections become loose or undone?
If the blower cuts out or overheats switch it off at the mains and wait for 1-2
minutes before turning it on again, it should now restart.
If it does not or there is a power cut please contact us IMMEDIATELY.
The hirer must not sub-hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be
used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way.
In cases of damage, destruction or failure to return the equipment you will be
liable for the cost of repair to or replacement of the equipment.
You will be informed of an agreed collection time when the equipment is
delivered.
Any unnecessary obstruction by the hirer or their guests causing unnecessary
delay will be charged at
£25 per hour or part of.
Disclaimer
ALL PERSONS USING THIS INFLATABLE DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK.
The person or organisation responsible for hiring the inflatable(s) will be
responsible/ liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of
misuse or reckless use.
These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment and it is
the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to.
Our company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury or damage caused to
property or persons using this equipment.
Public Liability Insurance is excluded in its entirety following any claim or
injury to any third party or employee whether directly or indirectly related to
the use of drugs and/or alcohol.
Bouncy Zone excludes any liability for injury loss or damage caused to any
person using the equipment contrary to the terms and conditions of this
contract.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Provided that the insurance is used in accordance with the above guidelines and
conditions of hire, those using the inflatable should do so safely.
However, accidents can happen. Bouncy Zone can accept no liability for injuries sustained or any other loss,
howsoever caused in the absence of negligence of the hirer (individual or
organisation) or their employees.
As the equipment will be in the hirers possession and control whilst in use
rather than Bouncy Zone, any liability for injuries or other losses caused
other than in the circumstances described above rests with the hirer.
Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that the hirer has adequate public
liability insurance covering his or her liability arising from the use of the
inflatable.
